UKRAINE

I was hoping to make another trip to Ukraine this fall. That trip has been postponed for the time being. Tammy and I both hope to visit Russia sometime in the future, most likely early spring. Please pray for the proper timing and opportunity for both trips.

EVANGELISM

Evangelism was the main focus of my ministry in Russia. For the past several months I have been preparing my evangelistic material in English. I am also working to make it available in other languages.

During my tenure in Russia I noticed people would almost immediately put up their guard when speaking to them about eternal matters.

So I wrote dialogues in comic form to show them what such a conversation would look like. This would give them time to read the dialogue and think about the subject matter. It was necessary for readers to see themselves as a third person in the conversation and hopefully they would be more open to a Gospel presentation.

Preparing this material in English and making preparations for evangelism in other languages has been very time consuming.

Booklet #5 is about the importance of believing truth as opposed to just being sincere in your beliefs. I based my booklet on a man who believed some very dangerous things and became rather famous while spreading his message. I used him as an example to prove the importance of believing truth, and the folly of believing a lie.

I looked online to see what the man had been up to lately. I was sad to learn he died in August 2020 at the age of 61.

PARTNERSHIP MAKES IT POSSIBLE

Funds are necessary to pay for the translations into other languages, for the printing itself and the labor involved. I can be reached at kplaster_2000@yahoo.com or 936.234.3180 if you would like to hear more about these evangelistic efforts.

Please prayerfully consider partnering with us financially. Your monthly gift enables us to do the work of reaching the lost. If God so leads, please support us.
