The past few months I have focused my studies on how to coach churches through revitalization. The studies have been extensive, like drinking water from a fire hose fully opened. The purpose is to show churches how vital and necessary they are. I would love to show  what I’m learning. February 15 I went to a con-ference “For Liberty and Justice” focused on the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. There  I bought a “Founder’s Bible.” The footnotes show the founders of our country had a Biblical worldview.

The first president, George Washington received this compass when he was 14 years old. It was in his pocket when he died in 1799. Shown in my hand and with the new Founder’s Bible.

February 17 – 20 I went to the Barnabus retreat near Leavenworth, Washington. It was very encouraging and refreshing.

A Tesla rental awaited us at the Seattle Airport so we could get to the retreat. On paper it looked to be a good deal.  The caveat, fees and insurance cost more than the car. Also, I had to have someone show me “just the basics.” Quite humbling when I realized I didn’t know how anything worked.

September 9th – 24th I’m headed to the Philippines with Philippine Mission Development. I hope to make other trips and will let you know how things work out. I’m grateful for your prayers and support. Kevin Plaster
