A COLABORER

Last summer I spent two months in Ukraine doing evangelism. All in all I drove 5000 miles in country and distributed more than 10,000 booklets that were well received.

Truth is I struggled getting started and knew encouragement (and accountability) was mandatory. I met Frank Grabanski the previous summer while in Ukraine. So, I drove across the country to see if Frank Grabanski would accompany me on the trip.

I let him know I was coming and arrived after 10 pm that night. What surprised me was his physical condition. He travels by bicycle and had two accidents. Both times he did a face plant and was banged up all over worse than anywhere else.

I had a new tube of triple antibiotic ointment with me and started rubbing him down. By the time his wounds were covered the ointment was nearly used up. So I let him keep the remainder. He was a sight.

I asked him to go with me for the summer to do evangelism and he agreed.

This summer I return to Ukraine and will be there three months – June, July and August. However, I will be speaking every Sunday at the same church and doing as much evangelism as possible during the week.

The capitol is 2 hours away and I plan to go there often and do evangelism. Frank is working close to the capitol this summer and will accompany me again for evangelism.

Instead of 1 booklet, a total of 6 have been translated and hopefully will be printed by the time I arrive. A QR code has been added to the booklets and people will be able to access all my booklets online, both in English and Ukrainian. At present the code just brings up English, but the web designer is working to get the Ukrainian booklets online.

TRIP DETAILS

I leave June 1 and arrive June 2 in Warsaw, Poland. I will stay the night and travel to Zhytomer, Ukraine on June 3. I plan to lighten my load and travel to Chernovits where I will rent a car. Then to Odesa to take care of printing details, and back to Zhytomer in time to preach on June 9. It’s a busy schedule.

Plans are to return to the states September 1. Please keep me in your prayers. Kevin
