I only had one conversation. I stopped and had a cup of coffee at a roadside store out in one of the villages. The owner was a young single mother, aged 22. Her name was Barbara and she was very talkative.

Her uncle opened the store some 14 years ago and he turned it over to her about a year ago. While we were talking an old lady came in wanting cigarettes. She told her this store doesn’t sell cigarettes or alcohol.

After the lady left I asked if the reason she didn’t sell cigarettes or alcohol was because she was a Christian. She said yes. She was a believer and didn’t want anything to do with those things.

She became a believer some tens years ago in Budapest, Hungary. I asked her if her confession specifically included repentance. She said yes.
